Which Macs does Starcat support?

Starcat supports macOS 15 and later. The Mac App Store build supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

Where is my library stored?

Repo cache, tags, notes, and status are stored locally on your Mac. GitHub tokens and AI provider keys use macOS Keychain.

Does Starcat provide an AI account?

No. Starcat uses a BYOK model: you configure a supported provider or a local Ollama model and remain in control of provider usage.

How is Pro managed?

Starcat Pro is offered through Apple In-App Purchase. Subscriptions and purchase restoration are managed with your Apple ID.
